"We cannot talk about La Cave St Jean without evoking the history of the French Brewers. It was in 2018 that two friends, Arnaud & Romain, decided to create a brewery: it will be called «Les French Brasseurs» and will settle in Gragnague. Initially two beers (one amber and one blonde) brewed with organic malts and local hops. The brewery has been AB and Nature & Progrès certified since its inception. The small volumes produced (brewing tank of 200L) sold very quickly, hence the decision to expand, in all respects: from 70m2 to 240m2 and from 200L to 2000L! And as good news never comes alone, so did the opportunity to buy this place. The reflection was short: Romain is a trained sommelier/wine merchant and Arnaud a former restaurateur. We would sell our beers there (and a little bit those of friends) under pressure and we would put a wine cellar, organic and without inputs obviously!

But you had to invent a kitchen there too! This would be mandatory in our current approach: no products already processed, the shortest possible circuits and a total respect for seasonality. That’s how La Cave St Jean was born by Les French Brasseurs:) ." Arnaud LORCESTALES
